The deep emotional bond between a baby and their mother begins at conception then continues after birth as she tends to all her baby's needs. As her tender love and care makes her infant feel safe, it is also more precious than silver and gold. And just as a mother feels a strong connection to her newborn after birth, babies also become attached to their mother. This bond is everlasting and takes place throughout the child's life. And even though one day they will grow too big to physically carry, they will never be too big to carry in our hearts. The love for our children is unwavering, unconditional and everlasting as we are forever attached.
This painting is dedicated to my late mother, my siblings and all the mothers who are losing their children to senseless hate crimes. Black Lives Matter.
